At the moment I am obsessed with this juice and I could have it every day! Its so simple and so tasty!!! So all you need is a juicer or a nutribullet and 4 ingredients.
- Pears
- Watermelon
- Strawberries
- Coconut Water or Plain Spring Water
Now to make this extra special and a little bit “slushy” like, I have pre prepared and frozen the juice of blended up watermelon. So when I blend it all up of this particular juice it is like frozen watermelon cubes that turn the drink into a slushy consistency. Simply chop and blend up the ingredients and I promise you won’t be disappointed! It has massive health benefits too, which i have gone into below. Enjoy. x
PEARS
Pears are often recommended as a hypo-allergenic fruit that is high in fiber but less likely to produce adverse reactions. Pear juice is safe to be introduced to infants as they are mild, yet healthful.

Vocal chord: Cube and boil two Chinese pears (pic on right) with some raw honey and drink warm. This is extremely healing for the throat and the vocal cord.
STRAWBERRIES
Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamins C and K as well as providing a good dose of fibre, folic acid, manganese and potassium. They also contain significant amounts of phytonutrients and flavanoids which makes strawberries bright red. They have been used throughout history in a medicinal context to help with digestive ailments, teeth whitening and skin irritations. Their fibre and fructose content may help regulate blood sugar levels by slowing digestion and the fibre is thought to have a satiating effect. Leaves can be eaten raw, cooked or used to make tea.
The vibrant red colour of strawberries is due to large amounts of anthocyanidin, which also means they contain powerful antioxidants and are thought to protect against inflammation, cancer and heart disease.
WATERMELONS
While watermelons are low in most vitamins and minerals, they are a good source of vitamin C and beta-carotene (which your body synthesizes into vitamin A). Watermelons with red flesh have more lycopene than tomatoes, which is a nutrient believed to protect against prostate cancer.
Watermelons contain two interesting nutrients which are found especially abundantly in the edible rind, citrulline and arginine. Citrulline has been shown to boost heart health, the immune system and help with weight loss and type 2 diabetes. Arginine boosts nitric oxide in the body which helps relax blood vessels and can treat and prevent erectile dysfunction. Some say watermelon is nature’s answer to Viagra. Arginine also removes toxins from the body.
